Weeping Willow
Print by Lauren Jane

Water-soluble ink on paper
5 x 7 inches
A girl in draped linen stands beneath the long, whispering branches of a willow, it's leaves sweep down like a curtain, sheltering the girl in a world that belongs only to her. Her hand resting against its pale trunk as if listening for something beneath the bark. At her feet, a small fawn sleeps in the soft dark, curled into the roots as though the earth itself has taken it in.
Printed in small batches, each impression holds its own subtle textures and variations.

About The Artist:
Lauren Jane is a British-American artist shaped by the shadowed landscapes of Northern England and the sunlit porches of the American South. Her lino prints are carved and pressed by hand, drawing on art history, folklore, and feminine symbolism. She trained in printmaking at York College in the UK. Working in small batches, she approaches each print as a study in storytelling, texture, and atmosphere.
